- In Québec: subsection 3.9 of the Code de sécurité pour les travaux de construction (Construction Safety Code).
- Elsewhere in Canada: the province's regulation.
- The plan says when an engineer must seal it.
- It stays preliminary until the names of the person who checked it and the person who approved it are provided.
- The original, checked on site.
- Scan the plan's QR code: the verification page says whether it is authentic, who issued it and when.
- Drop the file you received on it: it says whether the file is identical to the original or changed after delivery.
