TektonAI

For all members

Connect your AI assistant

Add your company's address in Claude (web, desktop, Claude Code), and what to know about other assistants.

Each company has its own connection address:

https://mcp.tektonai.app/<your-company>/mcp
  • You find it on the console’s home page, in the “Connect claude.ai or Claude Desktop” card. The Copy button copies it for you.
  • You add it only once. It gives access to all our tools, including future ones.
  • In Claude, this connection is called TektonAI.

Claude (tested)

We test every tool with Claude.

On claude.ai and in the Claude app, in 3 steps

  1. Copy your workspace address. On the console’s home page, in the “Connect claude.ai or Claude Desktop” card, click Copy.
  2. Add the connector in Claude. Open Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, then paste the address.
  3. Sign in with your TektonAI account. Click Connect, then sign in. A page asks “Connecter Claude ?” (Connect Claude?). It states the access you are giving: using our tools and reading the company profile. Claude has no access to the console. Accept, then open a new conversation.

A connector added on claude.ai also appears in the Claude desktop app, with the same account.

Some actions need your confirmation, such as importing a parts list into Inventory · Remise. On claude.ai, an “Importer / Annuler” (Import / Cancel) card then shows in the conversation (tested). If it does not appear:

  • open a new conversation;
  • or type “Import” (or “Approve the import”).

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan:

  • the owner of the Claude organization adds the connector, in the organization settings;
  • each member then clicks Connect and signs in with their own TektonAI account.

If the terms have changed

Claude shows the “TektonAI terms” card the first time you use a TektonAI tool. It comes back each time the Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy changes version. The card gives the link and version of each document.

  1. Tick both boxes: one for the Terms of Use, one for the Privacy Policy.
  2. Click “Continue”. The card confirms the terms are accepted.
  3. Send your request again.

If you close the card, nothing is accepted. A message confirms that nothing was done, and the card comes back the next time you use a tool.

In Claude Code and in assistants that do not show cards, the assistant asks you about each document in the conversation. It passes on your exact words.

In Claude Code

The command is in the console, in the same card, under “Claude Code, Cursor”.

claude mcp add --transport http tektonai https://mcp.tektonai.app/<your-company>/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, choose tektonai, then sign in.

Check

Ask Claude this question:

Which TektonAI tools are available in this conversation?

Claude should name your company’s tools, for example Scaffold · Échafaud and Inventory · Remise. If it does not see them, open a new conversation: most assistants load their connectors only at startup.

Other assistants (not tested)

Your company’s address follows an open connector protocol, which other assistants also accept. We have not tested them. The table sums up what their vendors say. Try an assistant before adopting it for the whole team.

Assistant How to connect it How to confirm an import
ChatGPT Turn on developer mode, add a custom connector in the settings, then sign in to your account. Paid plan: check with OpenAI what yours allows. Confirmation card (according to the vendor), otherwise type “Import”
Cursor Sign in to your account. Confirmation card (according to the vendor), otherwise type “Import”
GitHub Copilot in VS Code Sign in to your account. On a business plan, the administrator must allow external connectors. Confirmation card (according to the vendor), otherwise type “Import”
Open WebUI An administrator adds the server, with account sign-in. Yes or no question (according to the vendor), otherwise type “Import”
Gemini CLI Sign in to your account. Type “Import”

Gemini on the web accepts custom connectors only in the United States.

With an untested assistant, watch two things:

  • Account sign-in. The assistant must say which service it is requesting access for. If it does not, it is refused after sign-in and cannot be used with TektonAI for now.
  • Actions to confirm. Some actions wait for your confirmation, such as importing a parts list into Inventory.
    • If your app shows the “Importer / Annuler” (Import / Cancel) card, answer with the card.
    • Otherwise, type “Import” (or “Approve the import”) in the conversation. A vague answer like “yes” or “ok” is refused.
    • A written confirmation goes through the assistant, which passes on your message. It protects less than a click on the card. The log records it as relayed by the assistant.

When a tool asks you questions

When some information is missing, Scaffold and Inventory do not guess it. They show a short form in the conversation. For example:

  • Scaffold asks for the platform height, or for the exterior walls of an IFC model;
  • Inventory asks which column of your file holds each piece of information, or what a part record is missing.

To answer:

  • Fill in the fields, then click Envoyer (Send). The message “Envoyé à l’assistant.” (Sent to the assistant) confirms it.
  • An invalid answer shows in red under its field. The form stays open: correct the answer, then send again.
  • You can leave an optional question blank.
  • A required question needs an answer. If you do not know, pick “Je ne sais pas” (I don’t know) when the form offers it. Otherwise, close the form and tell the assistant.
  • To answer later, click Plus tard (Later), or the form’s cancel button. The assistant is told that you closed the form, and the conversation continues.
  • A form expires after 30 minutes at most. The message “Ce formulaire a expiré.” (This form has expired) then shows, and the assistant asks you the questions again.

The form shows in Claude, on claude.ai and in the desktop app. It appears in your profile’s language, English or French; the labels above are the French ones, with their English meaning in brackets. If your app does not show the form, the assistant asks you the same questions in writing. Your answers are then recorded as relayed by the assistant.

Disconnect an assistant

To remove an assistant’s access to your account:

  1. Open Connected assistants in the console.
  2. Click Revoke on the assistant’s row. Its next request is refused.

Removing the connector in the assistant is not enough: its access would stay valid on our side. See Cut someone’s access.

Not working?

  • The tools do not appear: open a new conversation, or restart the app.
  • Something stops working after a TektonAI update (a card does not appear, a tool is missing): in Claude, open Settings, then Connectors. Disconnect TektonAI, reconnect it, then open a new conversation.
  • “Non autorisé” (Unauthorized) when signing in: check the address. It must contain your company’s name, as it appears in your console’s address. Your account must also be a member of that company.
  • A tool is missing: an administrator may have limited this tool to certain members. See Members and access.
  • “L’abonnement n’est pas actif” (The subscription is not active): see Your subscription.
